BEAR BHS completes a comprehensive intake assessment to determine an appropriate level of care for each individual. Upon completion of an assessment, our Certified counselors will discuss treatment placement recommendations based on the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria.  BEAR BHS is licensed to provide ASAM Level 1,2.1, and 3.1 care options. If a higher level of care is required, our BEAR counselors will provide a referral to alternate providers at that time.
